Works Oy's whistleblowing reporting channel for suspected abuse
Nurminen Works Oy is committed to acting responsibly and complying with laws, regulations and instructions from authorities in its business operations. We take all suspicions of misconduct seriously.
For reporting violations and abuses, we have a reporting channel through which a person employed by the company, a customer, a partner or another stakeholder can report abuses related to Nurminen Works Oy's operations.
An employee of Nurminen Works Oy must report any abuse or suspected violation observed in the work community primarily to their own supervisor or their supervisor. If that is not an appropriate channel, the report can be made through this reporting channel.
What types of suspected abuses are reported through the reporting channel?
Examples of situations:
- Financial abuse
- Bribery or extortion
- Human rights violation
- Fraud or theft
- Serious discrimination or harassment
- Environmental violation
How do I report it?
The report is made electronically via the "Make a report" button below. When you submit the report, you will finally receive a password for your tracking page. Remember to save the password for yourself, it will remain the same during processing. If you do not save the password, you will have to make the report again. With the password, you can follow the progress of the report, write additional information and, if necessary, communicate anonymously with the Nurminen Works Whistleblower team. You will be notified of the receipt of the report and any additional questions within 7 days of receiving the report. Feedback and a decision regarding the report will be provided within 3 months.
Notification processing
Notifications are processed by handlers assigned to the task by Nurminen Works Oy. They may request information and expertise from other persons in confidence. The handlers report the received notifications to the company's management.
Messages received through the reporting channel are treated confidentially. Reports can be made under your own name or anonymously. We ensure that the identity of the reporter remains confidential and that there are no negative consequences for the reporter, even if the report does not lead to further action or investigation. However, misuse of the reporting channel by intentionally making false reports is prohibited and may result in legal action.
All reports are processed. However, handlers may reject a report if:
- the reported matter is not one of the matters to be reported in accordance with these guidelines
- the report is clearly not made in good faith or is made solely with the intention of causing harm, or concerns private information such as health, political, sexual or religious views
- Based on the notification, there is not enough information available to allow further investigation.
- The issue raised in the notification has already been resolved.
All appropriate reports will be thoroughly investigated. The investigation of the report will not involve the person concerned by the suspicion or who has connections to it.
If the person reporting the incident makes a report under their own name, their name will not be revealed to anyone other than those handling the report. However, if the report concerns a crime, the identity of the person reporting the incident may have to be revealed in connection with the investigation and legal proceedings conducted by the authorities.
